I have an E1200 hooked directly into my Arris CM820A. I recently upgraded my internet DL speed from 60mbs to 100mbs. For some reason, the E1200 will not allow 100mbs to pass thru and I only get 50-60mbs. If I bypass the E1200 and plug the Arris directly into my computer, DL speed jumps to 100mbs. Ultimately, the E4200 isn't much better than the E3000. I prefer the full LEDs of the E3000, and the wall-mountable design - and for tinkerers, you can easily achieve the same functionality as the E4200 on the E3000 using DD-WRT, without needing the extra 8MB of flash.
