Oct 19, 2011 · I have installed the correct VPN client for the router going through the same link that you showed. I have tried with both the name of the computer and the IP Address. I can ping the computer by name but not with the IP Address for the VPN Local network. Normally you can ping by the IP and not by the name so this is strange to me.
